Biography
Colour is the predominant force in these increasingly pared down abstract and figurative paintings. The subject is drawn variously from landscape, horses, dogs and an interior world. Mark making, layering, drawing into the surface and scraping back to pare it down in places all contribute to create the energy or "quietness" required.
Exhibited throughout the UK with paintings in private collections in France, Germany and Australia.
